Consumer prices in the German state of Hesse rose in March by 0.4 percent month-on-month and
by 1.4 percent year-on-year, the state's statistics office said on Thursday.
In February, prices in Hesse rose by 0.3 percent month-on-month and by 1.4 percent year-on-year.
Data for six major German states are used to calculate a preliminary figure for the whole of Germany.
